Traders now Save 10% at World of Wine!

World of Wines today invited traders to save money on their purchases.

Over the next few days local business of all types in Henfield, Steyning and Storrington will be receiving a flyer and two trader discount cards that allow them to claim 10% discount across all items in our shops with the simple exception of special offers and multi-buy cases.

In addition those traders who wish to register the cards either in the shops or via the web site will be offered additional benefits - and a waiters friend corkscrew to open some great wines!

Initially this scheme will run until 31st March 2008.

 "We have always tried to support local business in Storrington. So we buy stationery from the Scribbling Shop, meats and sausages from the local butcher, get batteries and light bulbs from Knight Electrical and have always had this unspoken policy of 'buy local'.

In all our locations we have had a friendly welcome from the other shops and businesses and while we are of course in business to make a profit we also have a keen desire to encourage people generally to shop locally.

This idea has come from our shop managers and I'm very happy to formalise the discounts in this manner, and broaden the scope by allowing all but our special offers and multi-case deals to be included. "

This initiative is rolled out across all our shops from Tuesday 4th December.

Continuing our environmental initiative we have decided to produce the Trader Discount cards on card - not as a plastic credit card sized item. Although they may not last as long traders can simply ask for a replacement.
